We would like to invite you to participate in an event organized by the researchers of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences - the 2nd International Conference Perinatal Mental Health. We are proud to share that, at the beginning of this year, the construction of the two first modules of the new PUMS Hospital was completed, and this brand-new clinical facility opened its doors to patients. With the official name University Clinical Hospital in Poznan, this new medical center located at 55 Grunwaldzka Street in Poznan, has been integrated with the network of PUMS hospitals.

This week we welcome back in Poznan two of our alumni joining PUMS Faculty as visiting professors for a week of classes.
We cordially invite medical students in their 5th and 6th years of studies, PhD students and PUMS post-graduate medical internship trainees, to participate in the five-day event International Exchange in Brno at the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery, that will take place on June 24-28, 2024. Participation in the event is registered as international training, and participants receive 2 ECTS points.

The Student Electoral Commission has announced the deadlines for submitting candidacies for representatives to the University Student Government Council (RUSS)! On May 9, 2024, we will elect representatives for the term from September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2026!
We encourage all of you to participate not only in the elections but also in submitting your candidacies. We also face the challenge of surpassing the turnout from the previous elections, which was only 17%.
We are proud to share the application results of PUMS students and graduates in the 2024 US National Residency Matching Program: 100% of our current final year students who applied for medical residency in the USA this year have matched. The overall match rate for our school for this year, including applications of graduates from previous years, is at 83% - significantly above the average result for international medical graduates (IMGs) of 61%.
